Terms
The short version
- Got a text after calling an HVAC shop? It is about your call, sent for that shop. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help.
- CatchSwift is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911.
- Shops that use CatchSwift sign a written service agreement. The prices and the guarantee are set there.
About these terms
CatchSwift is a missed-call text-back service for HVAC companies in the United States, run by Matte ("we", "us"). These terms cover this website and the text messages CatchSwift sends on behalf of the shops that use it. By using the site or replying to our texts, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains what we do with information.
Text messages
What they are
HVAC shops use CatchSwift so that callers they miss hear back quickly. If you call a shop that uses CatchSwift and nobody answers, you may get a text from that shop's number, for example: "Hi, this is [shop name]. Sorry we missed your call. What can we help you with? Reply STOP to opt out."
You get these texts because you called the shop. They are only about your call and your service request. We never send marketing or promotional texts.
How often
- One automatic text after a missed call, then only replies in a conversation you continue.
- A daily limit on how many texts any one number can receive.
- Texts go out during the shop's texting hours in its own time zone. A text due at night waits until morning.
- Message frequency varies with how often you call and reply.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan. CatchSwift never charges callers anything.
How to stop them, or get help
- Reply STOP to stop texts from that shop. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT work too. You will get one text confirming it, then no more.
- Reply START to allow texts again.
- Reply HELP for help, or email matte@catchswift.com.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or text opt-in data for marketing; see the privacy policy.
Not an emergency service
If you smell gas, see smoke or a carbon monoxide alarm is sounding, leave the building now and call 911 from outside.
CatchSwift helps a shop reply to missed calls. It does not dispatch help, and texts can be delayed or fail to arrive for reasons outside anyone's control, such as carrier filtering, coverage or outages. Never rely on a CatchSwift text in an emergency.
For HVAC shops
- Shops that use CatchSwift sign a written service agreement before setup. It sets the price, the guarantee, billing and cancellation. If anything on this website differs from a shop's signed agreement, the agreement wins.
- The founding offer on this site is limited to 3 shops. We may decline a shop or end the offer once the spots are filled. Prices are in US dollars.
- The numbers in the calculator and the demo are examples to help you estimate. They are not a promise of results.
Using this website
- Please do not misuse the site: no attempts to break it, overload it or copy it in bulk.
- The text, design, photos and film on this site belong to CatchSwift or are used with permission. Do not reuse them without asking.
- The site is provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot promise it is always error-free or online.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using this website.
Changes
We may update these terms. The new version will be posted here with a new date. Changes to a shop's service are made in its agreement, not on this page.
